TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR

Job Description

Responsible to:            Chapter President, Members of the Chapter’s Executive Board, Members of the Mt. Baker Chapter of SHRM/NHRMA.

 

Function:                      This position serves to promote, educate, and inform interested parties of the Mt. Baker Chapter’s goals, programs and activities utilizing up-to-date technology.  Will develop, implement and maintain a web site for our members and the community.

 

Duties:

 

1.       Develop and maintain web site for Chapter information programs and activities.  Link web site to SHRM Homepage and /or student chapter homepage.

 

2.       Work closely with all board and committee members to ensure up-to-date information is maintained on web pages.

 

3.       May form a committee to assist in web site maintenance and design.

 

4.       Attend board meetings and membership meetings on a regular basis giving updates on web site use and resources provided. 

 

5.       Represents the Chapter in the Human Resources community and actively promotes the awareness and support of its activities.

 

6.       Immediately upon leaving the office of Technology Coordinator, and no later than the January board meeting, forwards all materials and/or information related to the position to the incoming Technology Coordinator.

 

7.       Uphold SHRM Code of Ethics and the Chapter By-laws.

 

 

 

Qualifications:              Must be a professional or general member of SHRM and possess up-to-date knowledge of Internet technology as it relates to web sites, homepages, and Human Resource Management systems.
