Marie Gallagher

Marie N. Gallagher is the President Elect for the chapter for 2011.  She is an associate with the law firm Adelstein, Sharpe & Serka, LLP.  She concentrates her practice on employment law, and commercial litigation involving contract and business disputes, real estate disputes, and employment claims.  Marie is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Whatcom County Bar Association, and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the WSBA.

Prior to joining Adelstein, Sharpe & Serka in 2006, Marie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Anita L. Farris in Snohomish County Superior Court.  Marie graduated cum laude from the Seattle University School of Law and received her jurist doctorate in 2004.  While attending, she interned with the Honorable Steven Gaffin at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and with the Starbucks Law and Corporate Affairs department.  Marie received her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University in 2000.
