Lorna Klemanski, SPHR

Lorna Klemanski is Treasurer for 2011  and has been a member of the Mt. Baker Chapter since 2001.  She has served four previous terms on the Board of the Mount Baker Chapter and is a past president of the Skagit-Island Human Resource Management Association.

Lorna had approximately twenty years of general management experience in health care and hospitality before making a career change to human resources.  She now has more than ten years of experience in the human resources field and is currently a Human Resources Manager with the City of Bellingham.  Primary responsibilities include labor and employee relations as well as classification and compensation. 

Lorna earned her SPHR certification in 2003 and possesses a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington.  In addition, Lorne earned her CCP designation in 2010.
